The most common are respiratory infections, which can range from a mild cold to severe pneumonia, and can transmit to whole family groups.

By highlighting this unexpected threat to gorillas, we can raise the profile of Gorilla Doctors and the great things they are doing to help the gorillas.

Idea:
Introducing ‘Gorilla Issues Tissues’.
These special packs of tissues highlight that when we get a cold we can pop to the local pharmacy and pick up some medicine, however when a gorilla gets
a cold, it could be life threatening.

These special packs of tissue would be on sale in supermarkets and pharmacies alongside cold and flu medication. Proceeds from the pack of tissues would go to helping Gorilla Doctors look after infected gorillas. You can save a gorilla by simply popping into the pharmacist.
