Gaming has exploded since we’ve all been forced to stay at home. Shopping on the other hand – apart from masked raids on the supermarket – has all but vanished from our preoccupations. So what could French fashion brand Gémo do to launch its new collection? It took advantage of the latest trend and materialized inside the gaming phenomenon Animal Crossing. The game featured pixel art versions of the clothes and an in-game Gémo store. Users could explore different versions of the clothes – and to top it all off, there was a virtual fashion show with the participation of influencers. Enabling fashion fans to stay chic even as they stay at home.
