Story Powerful achievements in fighting cancer have been a cornerstone of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s fundraising message since the Someday is today campaign began in 2012. “Coming Home” makes an unforgettable point: Thanks in part to discoveries funded by LLS, more people with blood cancer are living normal lives – they are truly “coming home.” Together, TV and radio remind us that LLS has advanced some of the most pioneering cancer research of our time, extending the impact of your donations beyond blood cancer alone. Yes, that’s Oscar-winning actor Linda Hunt.
Ergebnis The “Coming Home” PSA reinvigorated relationships with TV Public Affairs Directors, resulting in nearly 10,000 free airings in just one month, ultimately driving a 14% increase in end-of-year donations versus the prior year.
