The 10th #CreativeExpress brings together young creatives to get ideas on The New European Bauhaus

  • Next 30th April - 2nd May, the #CreativeExpress will bring together online 31 talented young creatives from all over Europe.

  • Participants will develope creative ideas on The New European Bauhaus project, that calls to imagine beautiful, sustainable and inclusive places to live together after the pandemic.

  • Renowned creatives will form the mentoring team that will guide the young participants for two and a half days in their process of generating ideas.

31 young talents from 13 different European countries have been selected by their respective local associations, members of the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE), to participate in the 10th edition of the #CreativeExpress, an exclusive educational programme that will take place online on the upcoming 30th of April, 1st and 2nd of May.

This edition of the #CreativeExpress workshop will focus on the initiative launched by the European Commission named The New European BauhausThe initiative wants to connect the European Green Deal to our way of living. The New European Bauhaus project calls on all Europeans to imagine and build beautiful, sustainable and inclusive places to live together after the pandemic. And this is why ADCE, as official partner of the project, is participating on the initiative by inviting the best young European talents to propose ideas to the open call.

The New European Bauhaus is a creative and interdisciplinary movement in the making, and the #CreativeExpress participants, young talents guided by senior professionals, will contribute to propose creative ideas to the important challenges our society is facing. Participants will be working in groups to get ideas on sustainable issues, like how to find different solutions to reduce CO2 emissions of products and services from different sectors (mobility, fashion, food & beverage, entertainment, sports, etc.).

During the 3-days digital boot camp, they will have to crack the brief mentioned above with the help of top senior creatives that will act as mentors throughout the programme. Among them are Creative Express Director Hans-Peter Albrecht (The Wunderwaffe), Bruna GonzalezErik Kessels (KesselsKramer), Charlotte Bufler (The Wunderwaffe), David Torrents (david torrents + alba font), Irina Metneva (Vandog Agency), Hannes Böker (Red Bull), Patsy Haslinger (Gruppe am Park) and Jamshid Alamuti (Neural Jam).

The final ideas will be presented live on ADCE YouTube channel on Sunday 2nd May, at 5pm CET. They will also be published at the ADCE website and will be submitted to the New European Bauhaus official initiative through their website.
