Story | Overconsumption. Climate change. New ideas of luxury. In a world where consumers are demanding real change, premium car brands like Audi are at a crossroads, and they must let go of the past. Who better to represent challenging the norm than two of the fiercest princesses of modern times: Elsa and Arya. “Let It Go” follows Maisie Williams, a vocal advocate for action on climate change, as she sings her own interpretation of the hit song “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen.” Reinterpreting the Oscar-winning song to fit the film was no small task. From selecting the best lyrics to tell Audi’s story, to recomposing the song, to adjusting the song to fit Maisie’s vocal range, the stakes were high with Disney having final approval on the cover. In the end, the track which was recorded at the acclaimed Abbey Road Studios in London, proved to be a hit, giving fans of the song a cover they wanted to hear more of and made our message about letting go of the past and driving into a sustainable future impossible to forget. |
