An insurer turns its clients into stars

To help its professional clients navigate the bumpy post-lockdown economic climate, French insurer AXA created a “re-launch” programme (“Relance Pro”) aimed at small businesses and the self-employed. Many entrepreneurs and artisans saw their clientele vanish during lockdown, with business remaining slow afterwards. AXA and its agency Publicis Conseil decided to help them further, not only by offering advertising space in the form of posters at AXA branches, but also with a personalised campaign. So in Toulouse, for example, a local real estate agent featured on the poster. And in the historic town of Châtellerault, a local car bodywork repairer was highlighted. The messages were also spread through local newspapers and AXA’s social channels. Launched in August, the campaign enabled the insurer to support its clients while affirming its customer-friendly positioning. And the entrepreneurs featured all confirmed – the campaign gave their businesses a boost, with a noticeable rise in calls and orders.
