These banners are all the rage

If you’re into gaming you undoubtedly know Twitch, the leading platform for watching games as a spectator sport, with millions of unique visitors per month. In fact, gaming now attracts more viewers than many televised sports events. One faintly amusing aspect of the viewing experience is watching gamers turn apoplectic when a slow internet impacts their gaming mojo. But Belgian internet provider VOO and its agency Happiness/FCB Alliance were able to take advantage of this by creating vocally-activated banners triggered by players’ screams of rage. Naturally, the ads encourage viewers to switch to “four times faster internet”. Like another Banner we know, they transform anger into an advantage.
