KLM and its agency DDB United made this possible by installing linked holographic booths in airports around the world. Instead of just twiddling their thumbs, passengers could virtually meet and exchange useful information about their home. Although thousands of miles often divided them, the 3D holograms made it feel as if they were sitting at a café table together. Great for travel tips – and also for making the wait for a flight pass in the blink of an eye.
