Lucinda co-founded The Observatory International in 2007, and is a Managing Partner at the London office.
She graduated in the early 90s with an honours degree and the first ten years of her career were spent agency-side in account management for classic Above-the-Line and integrated agencies, as well as within brand consultancy.
Her “insider” understanding of agencies led her to move into the agency management consultancy category in 2002, since when she has worked extensively across Agency Search and Selection, Resource and Roster Optimisation, Performance Management and Agency Compensation disciplines.
Lucinda is on the Board of the Management Consultancies’ Association (MCA). She is also a regular lecturer for ISBA (“the voice of British Advertisers”) and a speaker on all matters related to helping clients get more from their marketing resources.

Since 2000 Stuart has worked within the Agency Management and Selection category and created The Observatory in 2006. He has a wealth of domestic and international experience.
He started his career on the Client side with Goodyear Tyre and International Paints and entered the ad industry as a writer before moving into account handling and then planning.
He formed WSP, working on such clients as Oral-B, Gillette, Bacardi-Martini and Loctite Adhesives. After its successful sale in ’87 ran Pocock & Co., an integrated Agency, before moving into this arena.
Stuart has advised Allianz, Tesco, Arla, Samsung, – and others – on their Agency Management needs.
He lectures for ISBA on several topics including Best Practice Agency Compensation.

Christine is experienced in a broad range of marketing disciplines, and now specialises in digital marketing. With over twenty years in international and national marketing roles in the automotive sector Christine combines extensive client side insight with more recent agency and consultancy experience.
Responsible for marketing communications at Jaguar Land Rover, Christine has deep insight into agency management and the search and selection process from a client perspective. She has worked with a broad spectrum of agencies both ATL and BTL, including film production, publishing and digital.
As well as consulting, Christine runs training programmes in digital marketing.
She received her MBA from the University of Warwick.

Rob has over 10 years of digital experience working in media agencies, first at Havas and then the last 7 years at Manning Gottlieb OMD. For the last 6 years he has led the digital arm of the Specsavers account, driving digital transformation and advancement, developing cross-channel strategies and implementing new collaborative working processes to enable effective business growth.
Rob has a Masters in American History from Kent State University, Ohio and a BA in American Studies from the University of Leicester.

Bex joined The Observatory International in March 2019 as a Consultant.
Bex has over 10 years of experience in marketing consultancy and agency search and selection. Previously at ISBA, she spent the last 5 years as part of the Consultancy and Best Practice team advising brands on their marketing challenges including agency relationship management, pitch support and appointing new agencies.
Bex has a Masters in Global Citizenship, Identities and Human Rights from The University of Nottingham and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.

David joined The Observatory International in October 2019 as a Consultant and is responsible for the Performance Measurement practice in the London office. David helps our clients get the most out of the partnerships with appointed agencies and evaluates relationships and performance through a range of proprietary tools. Prior to joining The Observatory International David managed market research projects for premier asset managers and before that he spent 12 years financial publishing where he gained extensive experience with investment fund research, editorial team management and market research for internal and external stakeholders. David has a degree in Business and Technology, is a keen traveller and a classic car enthusiast.

Florence started her career in France working for the retailer AUCHAN. She then moved to the Financial services industry joining Galeries Lafayette card, working in both France and in Italy in various Business Management positions. In 2000 she joined RENAULT, as Head of European Internet and CRM, and in 2003, was promoted to Head of European Advertising, where she handled the relationship with Publicis and Carat, dealing with more than 20 TVC productions, and optimised the ways of working.
She has run her own marketing efficiency practice in France working for large advertisers such as Nestlé, Total, Yves Rocher for 7 years before joining Roth Observatory London.
As well being an expert in Marketing Efficiency, Marketing Organizations and Marketing Automation, Florence is the author of 2 books “Just In Time Communication” published in April 2014 and “Advertiser: Connecting strategic marketing with the consumer” published in 2012.

Nathalie has more than 15 years of experience in marketing & communication both at the advertiser and the agency side, in France and internationally, mainly in the Automotive, Luxury and Financial sectors. She started her career in 2004 at Renault, first in Spain, as Customer & Market Intelligence Manager, and in 2006 she joined the Group’s Worldwide Marketing Direction as Worldwide Advertising Manager. In 2010, Nathalie moved to Publicis as Renault Regional Account Director in Latin America, based in Sao Paulo (Brazil). In 2015, she came back to France at Publicis headquarters as Head of International Coordination for Renault account. Since 2018, Nathalie is Partner and Head of Strategic Planning at The Observatory International Paris. Graduated with a Master in Marketing & Communication and an MBA in Strategic Management, Nathalie is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Graduated from her Master degree in Business Strategy and Negotiation at the Sorbonne University in 2016, after receiving her Ms from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2015, Sarah joined The Observatory International in 2017 as a junior project manager.
After a first experience in the media field as a business analyst at SOLOCAL GROUP where she developed strong analytics skills, she became a business developer in the e-commerce industry (vente-privee.com) in order to support the advertisers in their business and marketing strategy.
Dynamic and speaking fluently English, Sarah is ready to meet new challenges, with organisation and tenacity.
John Sealey studied in the UK and France and spent nine years working in national and international marketing roles for organisations including Burmah Castrol (now BP).
He moved to Germany in 1990 and switched to the Agency-side in 1997, joining Scholz & Friends, one of Germany’s leading agency groups, rising to become Managing Director of the International arm developing the group’s network.
September 2008 marked the launch of The Observatory’s EMEA office based in Hamburg (now Roth Observatory International since November 2013).
John also has additional qualifications as a coach and organisational development consultant and specialises in the needs of the advertising & marketing community.
Ingrid has been working for The Observatory International since 2014. As an experienced consultant, she specialises in the digital arena, screening the market for digital agencies and service providers and managing digital projects. She understands the success factors for creative digital communication as well as the associated technical challenges.
She gained her in-depth know-how as CEO and Managing Partner of renowned digital agencies like Pixelpark and plan.net campaign, where she was responsible for national and international client projects: from website and platform-to-shop systems or CMS-development for clients such as NIVEA, Schneider, Stollwerk Sarotti, Otto, EwieEinfach or Unicef. In addition, she worked for the Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt and RP Online Verlags-GmbH, where she was responsible for sales and online product development.
Since 2009 Felicitas has gained extensive experience working in the area of search and selection consultancy. She has supported numerous national and international clients in the fields of agency selection and portfolio management, agency contracts and remuneration as well as relationship management.
She is a trained advertising executive (GREY Worldwide, Düsseldorf) and graduated in Communication Studies (M.A.) from the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster.
On 1st September 2015, Felicitas joined the Hamburg office as a Senior Consultant. She will also be supporting the The Observatory International offices in Warsaw and Zurich.

Roland Sutter is an expert in the area of enduring client/agency relationships.
In 1971, Roland joined Gisler&Gisler, the then leading Swiss advertising agency which subsequently merged into the BBDO group. There, he became Client Service Director and Member of the Management Board.
Together with a business partner, he founded his own agency named Sulzer, Sutter in 1986. The new company became one of the leading independent agencies in the following decade servicing long-term clients such as Bally International, Swatch Group, BMW Switzerland, Unilever Switzerland and British American Tobacco Switzerland.
In 2010, Roland merged his agency into HESSKISSSULZERSUTTER. In 2013 he left the agency world to set up The Observatory International in Switzerland.

John began in advertising in the UK in 1966, and after a spell in brand management moved back to South Africa in 1976, joining the Ogilvy partner agency
He transferred to Ogilvy in Canada, returning again to South Africa in 1981. Between 1981 and 2009 he held the positions of MD of Ogilvy Jhb, Group MD of Leo Burnett, MD of Ogilvy Africa and CEO of GroupM, Africa
John served on the board of the Association of Advertising Agencies for sixteen years. He chaired that body as well as the Marketing Industry Trust and the Advertising Standards Authority.

Rahul has worked in leadership roles on the creative and business ends of the advertising industry. An engineer with a business degree, Rahul started his career in advertising copy. He was a creative director with LOWE LINTAS in India, and then headed one of their offices.
Rahul has been in Dubai since 1999. He worked with the BATES Group till the end of 2011 in a number of different roles in creative, advertising, branding digital marketing and integrated solutions. He has been an independent marketing communications consultant since 2012.
Rahul has an in-depth understanding of the marketing communications industry in the Middle East. He has worked extensively on market-leading brands in financial services and retail as well as a number of strategic government initiatives in the UAE.
Sandy Burns is the Managing Partner for Greater China and SE Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Sandy is well known to many as the leader of the Asia practice of Strategy Consultants and Training Specialists Red Spider, who have also been appointed as our official Training Partner in the region.
Having worked since 1996 with brand agencies and consultancies in Europe and Asia Pacific, Sandy left his role as Regional Planning Director for Saatchi & Saatchi Asia and joined Red Spider in 2008.
Over the years, Sandy has helped a range of blue chip clients including Google, Procter & Gamble, Diageo, General Motors and Motorola and continues to win regional and national Effectiveness Awards for Businesses across Asia.
Danny Hill is the Managing Partner for Greater China and SE Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Danny has recently joined Observatory International after spending 15 years in senior client-side roles in marketing and brand strategy both at a global level and more recently within the Asia Pacific region.
Having worked in the Asia Pacific region for the past 5 years, Danny has firsthand experience of optimizing marketing resources through agency re-modeling, campaign and brand performance measurement and implementing digital transformation.

Kay has over 25 years experience in advertising and marketing, focused on developing marketing & communication strategies, launching new businesses and products, and fixing structural and business problems with global companies.
He joined McCann-Erickson Korea in 1990, Korea’s first global agency, led an account service group, and set up and headed the account planning team. He played key roles for both agencies and clients including WGC, Leo Burnett, Studio Zucchi Design, and Service Plan, and served as a member of Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Marketing Advisory Board. His clients included global market leaders such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, P&G, General Motors, BMW, Phillip Morris, Johnson & Johnson, Lufthansa, STPB, Samsung Electronics. Kay also conducted a number of consulting projects as consultant for Alibaba.com, Maximum, Media Arts Lab and Spark 44.
Kay holds BA in Sociology from Korea University, an MA in Sociology from the University of Arizona, and an MA in Advertising from Syracuse University.
Satoki has over 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing, having served as COO of JWT Japan before heading up his own marketing consultancy, and also teaching as Professor of Business Administration at Meiji University in Tokyo.
He consults extensively for both local and global marketers in Japan, as well as conducting training for them.
Prior to JWT, Satoki was an executive manager at Hakuhodo Inc., Japan’s second largest advertising agency, where he headed up the company’s international M&A group.
Before taking up this position, he was a marketing planner for the agency working with a number of international clients including Coca Cola, BMW, Nestle, Shiseido, and others.
Mr. Sano also served as Marketing Director for Budweiser Japan, a joint-venture between Anheuser-Busch and Kirin Beer.
Mr. Sano received his B.A. and M.A. from International Christian University, with a major in biological and experimental psychology.
