Story How can a company create a long-lasting relationship with its consumers? Tug at their heartstrings. Extra gum launched a multi-phase love story campaign that began with the video love story of Sarah and Juan, who met over a shared piece of gum. Set to a cover version of the classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” the story went viral. Immediately after, the brand actively engaged consumers by turning their stories into art displayed in an interactive gallery. Once the world fell in love with the campaign, Extra documented the love story of a real couple – climaxing with a tear-jerking wedding proposal.
