| Story | The Shadybug is the fourth chapter in ASN Bank’s brand campaign sharing its responsible ethos and actions under the guiding idea ‘zo maakt geld gelukkig’ (money can create happiness). In this approachable animated commercial, ASN Bank shares its strict door policy on the companies, countries and companies it lends to.Staying true to our signature ASN Bank style, the craft approach was a hybrid mix of miniature set and CG characters with soft fabric-like textures – complete with seams – integrated into their naturalistic environments.Adding new characters to the world of ASN Bank is always a pleasure, and for our first ‘bad guy’ we focussed on comedic timing and scale to play up to the absurdity of this little leader and his ideals: from his small ladybird stature compared to the bigger bugs, to his sly little actions and the silly sounds he makes. |
