Story The video reveals that adults in the US are regularly shot by their young children, who somehow get hold of their guns. In fact Americans are shot by toddlers at least once a week. The narrator says ominously: “We need to LOCK THEM UP. Not the guns – that’s just un-American. The toddlers.” Warming to his theme, he says: “Deport them. Get them out of our country. And keep them away from our guns.” The narrator concludes: “Guns don’t kill people. Toddlers kill people.” The irony is not lost on the viewer. Keep America safe.
Problem Toddlers gun down American citizens on a weekly basis. The satirical PSA cites headline after headline highlighting the problem, and demanding action – like locking up toddlers and deporting them - from policymakers to address America's toddler problem.The Brady Campaign is using the PSA to encourage Americans to get out and vote this November for leaders who support common sense gun reform.
