Story We follow a young surfer as he commits himself obsessively to his sport. Why does he do it? A parallel narrative follows a snail who’s “risking everything to cross the largest desert of a sidewalk it’s ever seen”. Why would it do such a thing, instead of hiding in its shell? Maybe because it wants to connect with something greater than itself, or perhaps inspire other snails. As the film cuts between surfer and snail, we understand that succeeding means testing your limits. Samsung is the proud sponsor of the World Surf League – and all those who defy barriers.
