Peter McDonald has been MD and a major shareholder for more than a decade, and has re-shaped The Agency Register to remain the ‘pace-setter’ in providing agency search, review and selection – in a manner that is highly attuned to the requirements of great governance.His wealth of international and Australian advertising agency and marketing management experience has provided a first-hand understanding of how to create truly successful business relationships. Brand management roles at Warner Lambert and American Home Products have built his marketing foundations. While DDB, JWT (both Toronto, Canada), and DMB&B Sydney have largely shaped his agency experience – Bristol Myers, General Mills, Hanes Corp., Mars Inc., McDonald’s, PepsiCo, and Procter & Gamble being some of the key clients with whom Peter has intimately worked.


Peter is also an Adjunct Professor (Brand Communications) at Boston University, an Adjunct Marketing Lecturer at The University of Sydney and an inaugural member of their Discipline of Marketing’s Industry Advisory Board. He holds a B Com (Marketing), MBA (International Business), is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.


Additionally, Peter is a regular contributor to The Australian national newspaper on agency overall business performance and major industry developments.
