Philosophie The problem was that 70% of sports-fans don’t do sports themselves. This was a huge unexploited target group for sports brand Salomon.
The challenge was how can we get these people to do sports?
The solution was Shoepon – the first shoe that is also a coupon. It rewards you for doing sports with a Sky Sports subscription. When the sole is worn down, it reveals a code to unlock this live sports content.
The result was online store traffic increased by 108%. The shoe was sold out within days. And Salomon won over a huge new target group.
