Story Colonel Sanders used to sit “truck drivers and millionaires at the same table”, bringing people together around a bucket of chicken, the most democratic of meals. We identified examples of groups and individuals in Dutch counterculture that embody the same spirit and inspire young people of all backgrounds.Staying true to the core of the brand we decided to celebrate the people who eat and work at KFC. KFC believes its bucket unites people, and we had the perfect opportunity to show that a bucket of KFC is about much more than chicken, it’s made to be shared, and could become a symbol of togetherness and diversity.That’s how “United by the Bucket” was born: the idea of bringing people together around a bucket - celebrate their diversity, their story, their background, their creativity, what they bring to the world. The film brings all of this to life.
