Story In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the iconic LGBT rainbow flag, PFLAG Canada shed some light on a major problem facing the LGBT community: international travel safety. Destination Pride reminds us that international travel can be more dangerous for the LGBT community. The organization gathered data on key safety indicators and represented the safety level of each indicator with one of the flag’s bands of color. Before leaving the country, travelers can get a quick, visual safety snapshot of destinations around the world. Until the world is safe, Destination Flag helps navigate this one.
