Slogan Self-exam is so simple that you can do it even by dancing
Story Breast cancer is the first leading cause of death by cancer among women around the world, with about 522 thousand deaths estimated each year. This corresponds to 22% of new cases each year (www.inca.gov.br). It’s not news that music is used to transmit messages, information and learning. However, in this occasion, its spreading potential has been useful in order to embrace a noble cause: breast cancer prevention, motivated by Pink October. We took advantage of the mania of channels that show choreographies of current hit songs to also achieve our own. We are talking about Mama Dance, a spontaneous way that we found to alert about a serious subject. We did this in order to show that self-exam is so simple that one can do it even by dancing.
