Fatima has over four years of Advertising experience, where in the first two, she was still studying at the top business school of the country, propelling a minor startup; MARO Tandoors, right into fame overnight with her sharp acumen. Even the $0 media budget didn’t deter the success, because the strategy to piggyback on existing trending topics by injecting humor into them was incredibly effective making her a marketing rising star to watch out for.
After graduating, Fatima joined BBDO Pakistan, as a Creative on the PepsiCo. portfolio and since then she has time and again proven that age has nothing to do with experience. Within two years' time, she has won over 60 International Advertising Awards: Cannes Lions, Mena Cristals, D&AD, ADStars, Loeries, Clios, Spikes, LIA, White Square, Effie APAC and Lisbon International Advertising Festival for two of her most noteworthy campaigns done in collaboration with UN Women; #BridalUniform and #StopDowrymongering. Her recent campaign, #ChaiKaNishaan done in collaboration with Shalamar Hospital and Babar Ali Foundation took the country by storm with its horrifying yet eye-opening message.
She has been recognized as the country’s youngest superstar by Branding in Asia magazine in their ‘One under 30’ feature. She has served as the jury member on the panels of Mobius Awards and MUSE Creative Awards and will be serving as the Young Stars Mentor at AD Stars in 2020.
In this short span, she has gotten her name on the WARC Ranking (#56 for Bridal Uniform) and gotten published in the Communication Arts Advertising and D&AD Annual. She’s been the youngest (25) at achieving all the above and we’re excited to see what she can do in the coming years!
