Story Pantone's Classic Blue made us realize the dramatic absence of this basic and essential colour in our lives.Using the format of Pantone's Color of the Year, we introduced the panorama of one of the most polluted cities: Beijing.To support our campaign, we produced posters printed on a special material that absorbs air pollution.
Philosophie The Pantone Colour Institute announced the Classic Blue as the Colour of the Year for 2020. However, this colour reminds us of a bigger problem: the global issue of air pollution. Since carbon emissions in urban centres have increased dramatically, air pollution affects our lives in a number of ways. Not only painting our blue sky to smokey grey – but altering the whole ecosystem's basic functions, too. The posters are created in a way that they are actually able to absorb pollution from the air.
