Brief	As a man (actor Jake Gyllenhaal) sits daydreaming in a bar, he's transported to an airborne world which captures the atmosphere of his new Cartier Santos pilots' watch, named after Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The visual effects build up the pace and atmosphere, creating environments that become ever more abstract and magical. As the bar set was built on a giant turntable, the lighting effects could be achieved in-camera. In the street sequence, additional computer generated mist was added to recall the action in the clouds. The street glimpsed from the bar was also added via CG to connect the two environments.
