Philosophie The Volkstheater faces declining public interest and falling tickets sales. To promote “The Merovingians or The Total Family”, the story of an angry citizen who cures his aggression by smashing objects, we invited Vienna to a public anger room, where anyone could smash stuff. “Punch pad” posters, promotion guys in punching bag costumes and more promoted our public anger therapy. A smashing success with over 7 million impressions, over €250k in PR and a sold out premiere.
