Marcello started his career with an eight-year stint as a marketing and innovation manager for Unilever in Brazil and Argentina. He then moved agency-side into strategy with leading strategy roles at networks including Y&R, Lowe, BBH, FCB, Ogilvy, and Leo Burnett, before becoming Chief Strategy Officer at Leo Burnett Chicago.
He has also made time for his ventures, being a partner to London-based innovation brand strategy boutique BrandThinkTank, co-founder of Tailor-Made ad agency in Brazil - later acquired by Publicis Groupe (Leo Burnett Tailor Made)
He founded SPEAKEASY – Knowledge Brokers - a global open-sourced talent brand innovation network in 2018. He co-founded sonic branding strategic/production hub Hole in the Wall Gang.
