Manuel de Luque is the editor of Anuncios, a leading advertising & marketing trade magazine in Spain. Ha has held this position since 2006. Previously he had been deputy editor for ten years. He studied Journalism at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has worked for the best part of his career in the advertising & marketing trading press, mostly covering international developments of the industry and the people behind them. Apart from Anuncios, he has worked as a reporter for another Spanish trade magazine, Campaña, and has also contributed to international publications such as Media & Marketing Europe, Campaign, Communication CB News, Direction, Pubblicità Italia and Pubblicitá Domani. Mention could also be made of a bimonthly opinion piece on advertising that was published during several months (2007-08) at financial newspaper El Economista and his contribution as a blogger to Emprendo con Vodafone, a program devoted to entrepreneurs set up by the telecommunications company. He has been member of the jury in international and local advertising awards and has lectured on advertising at various universities and advertising and business schools.
