Story Any artist wonders: How can I get noticed? Often times, the biggest stars were discovered because their music was heard by, well, stars. Usher discovered Justin Bieber, Rihanna's music was heard by Jay-Z. As a champion of the music industry, Budweiser and its recording company arm BudX Records wanted to extend this opportunity to all musicians. With "WhtsApp Records", the brand and DAVID Bogotá took 5 of the biggest Urban artists in Latin America and spread their phone numbers far and wide, urging emerging artists to send their demos to the superstars via voice notes in WhatsApp. Each artist chose a protégé to work with and introduce to the world as a potential next big thing in music.
