A delicious campaign result: over 91,000 text messages sent, more than 3 million unique video viewed, and over 744,000 emails sent among consumers who participated.|
MasterCard used the popular NFL quarterback Peyton Manning for the campaign, which allowed consumers to visit a website to trigger the creation of customized video messages from Manning to their friends. A friends finished video would appear as if Manning has filmed it just for that friend, no doubt lending the right ingredient, personalization, to have made this campaign such a success.
