BriefRIMOWA has been known for its iconic suitcases of German quality, superior manufacturing and timeless design; but as a new generation of travelers actively seek brands that stand for something, and while copycats crowd the market, it has never been more important to communicate our brand's message.To mark our 120th anniversary, RIMOWA created a global campaign that draws on our rich history of making suitcases for purposeful travelers. The message is simple but powerful: “No one builds a legacy by standing still.”We told our story through five RIMOWA long-time owners featuring their own personal suitcases. These cultural icons share the same mindset of always moving forward: tennis legend Roger Federer, Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director and Off-White founder Virgil Abloh, model and activist Adwoa Aboah, global restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa and Dior men’s jewellery designer and AMBUSH creative director Yoon Ahn. And because everyone takes different paths towards mastery, we worked with five different directors to bring each travel story to life in a completely unique way.This film is a culmination of each story and RIMOWA’s first statement to the world about what we stand for. That mastery is a never-ending process, and that no one builds a legacy by standing still.
