Story | Each of these ads plays off a well known American movie or TV show from the 1980s, when the cars were just as famous and popular as the lead actors. In each ad, we see a different character finding their iconic car on carsguide.com.au. Namely, the movie 'Back to the Future' and the two TV series 'Knight Rider' and 'The A-Team'. It is like we are looking through a window into the past. Of course the internet wasn't around in the 80s, which adds to the humour. |
Philosophie | The campaign communicates that if we can help these famous characters find their custom cars, imagine what we can do for the ordinary consumer. The take-out is that carsguide.com.au offers the perfect choice for any person, no matter how specific their requirements. The line, 'Choice is everything' is two-pronged. Firstly it means that it really important to make the right choice. Secondly it says that it's crucial to have the right type of cars to choose from. |
