Story Social media challenges come and go. The #10YearChallenge was no different: people were asked to show a pic of themselves ten years ago and now, side by side. But when the challenge was taken the Hospital for Sick Children, it gained a new purpose. The #SickKidsVS #10YearChallenge was a unique, free opportunity to display the transformative nature of SickKids hospital. By showing former "sick kids" thriving ten years on, over 24 hours a series of social posts demonstrated the power of donations. The posts were widely shared and liked, and many former patients and their parents added their own photos.
