Story Two bored Spanish boys are kicking a football around on a dusty urban pitch behind their apartments. With nothing better to do, they play a familiar game; picking fantasy teams from all their favourite players. Kaka, Cisse, Beckham, Zidane, Raul, Kahn, Ballack; all the big names of football actually turn up to take their places beside the boys. Even the legends, Beckenbauer and Platini,but as they would have appeared in their heyday. The two boys are both captain and coach; bossing the stars around, prior to kickoff.


SUMMARY

Every four years, rivalry between sports brands intensifies as each brand attempts to leverage the FIFA World Cup™ and its audience of billions. With the tournament in adidas’ homeland of Germany, 2006 was going to be the most competitive World Cup to date. However, with their +10 campaign, adidas succeeded in capturing the real values of football and exceeded their communications and commercial objectives to become the undisputed brand winner of the World Cup.
