Story I grew up a normal teenager. I played sports. I liked school. I had a lot of friends. Then one day someone handed me a beer. 30 years later, that 1 beer had turned into 20 a day. One night I woke up in the emergency room. Delirious, vomiting blood because my esophagus was so badly burnt from alcohol. That night was it for me. Rockbottom. It took every ounce of strength in my body to reach out for help. Lucky for me someone was there. They didn’t care I had messed up my life or made past mistakes; They just wanted to help me get better. Today, I’m clean, sober & honest with myself.
