Story | We designed a new tactile signage for the visually impaired people to find venues with complete independence. This is a new vocabulary system that allows visually impaired people to recognize exactly what type of basic services or business is in front of them just by tapping the sidewalk with their cane. So, they no longer need to rely on assistance from others, enabling them to move around with greater autonomy. The project is open-source to help millions of people worldwide. |
