Story The Shadow Jumper tells the true story of Charlotte, a little girl who has an extremely rare disease called EPP. This makes her skin react to the blue light in the sun’s rays within minutes, causing pain and burns. So she has to spend her whole life living in the shadows.Until one day, when she met a professor at NIVEA who promised to help. Working at Beiersdorf AG’s R&D labs, he invented a very special cream, just for her. While not a cure for EPP, the cosmetic cream helps protect her against the blue light rays and when Charlotte applies it on her skin, she can play outside in the sun, just like other kids.
