Tarun Rai is the Chairman and Group CEO of Wunderman Thompson South Asia.
He returned to the Group after a seven-year stint at Worldwide Media, a BBC Worldwide-Times of India Group JV. In his prolific quarter century in advertising and media industry, Tarun has helped build some of India's most iconic brands, including those of Hindustan Unilever, Diageo, PepsiCo, Hero, Nestlé, GSK and Godrej. In today's dynamic and fragmented communication landscape, Rai believes collaboration with platform/domain specialists to deliver the brand message is key. Attracting multi-disciplinary talent and creating an empowering culture are his focus areas.
His passions include squash, golf and contemporary art, where he draws inspiration from.
Senthil’s work has been celebrated in India and recognised globally for the ability to amplify deep local insights into simple ideas that solve complicated marketing challenges. He has won India’s first and second Film Gold Lions at The Cannes Lions International Festival in 2009.
His ideas have helped build several brands in India including: Levi's, Nike, Google, Ford, Pepsi, Kingfisher, The Times Of India, ING Bank, Murugappa Group, Sri Lanka Tourism,The Diamond Trading Corporation, Smirnoff, Ti Cycles, Sulekha.com, UniverCell, Lifestyle Retail and a host of Unilever brands for India and the Asia Pacific regional markets.

Manoj Mansukhani has over 23 years of experience and has been a part of Wunderman for the last 4 years as the head of business before taking on his currently role at Wunderman Thompson.
He works closely with clients on their digital transformation and digital marketing initiatives.
He was instrumental in setting up one of the first global ecommerce sites in India in 1999. He has been awarded by the industry as one of the leading ecommerce marketers in the country. He is currently working with clients with their omnichannel strategy.
On his personal time he pursues his passion in portrait photography and sailing.
Bindu, has over three decades’ experience in market research, advertising and marketing. Her focus is category and brand growth strategies. Penetration, consumption, market share, category revival and brand choices rule her life. She built key brand properties that fuelled consumption, enabled challenger brands to carve out their rightful place in the market; and devising growth strategies for Horlicks, Sofy, Good Knight, ClinicPlus, Maggie, Indian Army to name a few. Her work at JWT as Chief Strategy officer, has created a work culture and approach that pushes for every piece of creative to be a strategic solution to a brand and business problem. Her advertising career has been enriched with her four-year stint at Hindustan Unilever in India and across the APAC region. Most importantly, her contagious passion for solving brand and business problems has infected many a planner that she has mentored and groomed.
Rajul is the CFO for J. Walter Thompson South Asia. He is responsible for Finance, Legal and Compliance functions. He has been actively involved in new business acquisitions and has led several new initiatives. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Prior to joining J. Walter Thompson, Rajul worked with S.B. Billimoria and Co, Chartered Accountants; an associate firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells, Chartered Accountants. An avid swimmer, Rajul likes jogging and meditation and is passionate about building businesses.
Roopa Badrinath has over twenty years of multi-faceted experience. At J Walter Thompson, she has the complete oversight of all offices across India, Sri Lanka and Nepal including Contract, Global Geometry Encompass Network, Hungama Digital Services, Mirum and ADK Fortune. Roopa, who likes to be known as a talent-enabler, believes that employee engagement happens more through their hearts than through their minds. She is an advocate of collaboration coupled with consistency and an open and inclusive style of functioning. She is the only professional from the advertising industry to have been named one of the 30 Best HR Leaders by the World HRD Congress in 2013. An avid baker, Roopa enjoys baking healthy organic treats. She practices yoga and loves reading both fiction & non-fiction.
Rohini is an experienced communications professional with a demonstrated history of working in the public relations, marketing communications and advertising industries. She believes in creating greater impact for brands through purpose driven communications enabling them to reach their key audiences and attain their business goals. Skilled in brand strategy, content development, media relations and corporate communications, Rohini has done in her Masters in International Business from the Robert Gordon University (U.K.) and is a graduate from St. Xavier's College in Mass Media with a specialisation in advertising. She was a speaker at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Frames’ Tourism Conclave – ‘Shoot at Site’ in 2013. An aspirational hotel reviewer, Rohini loves to exercise, travel and listen to western classical music in her spare time.
Out of 21 years of being in the profession of Media and Advertising, Joy Chauhan has spent a little over 10 years at JWT. Under his leadership JWT Bangalore has seen a surge of new business wins resulting in unprecedented organic and in organic growth. He has been instrumental in building many iconic brands like PepsiCo, Hero, Airtel, Nestle in the past. Joy believes, right attitude comes before aptitude to be really successful in business or life.Joy continues to be a student of behavioural psychology and a fan and follower of fitness and sports. Having done theatre in his early days, performing arts and poetry continues to be his interest outside of work.
With more than 2 decades of advertising experience, Kishore has vast experience in creating communication solutions for brands across categories and geographies at global, regional and local levels. He was the Sr. Vice President and Global Brand Director on brand Radiant detergent operating across 5 continents. He has launched global brands like Special K and Pillsbury in India and worked on home grown, Indian local brands like Godrej refrigerators, HMT watches, Club HP, Aditya Birla Finance group, SBI MF etc. On a personal front, he has eclectic tastes – from reading a Bill Bryson book to watching Wildlife programming, being a total Hindi film buff to studying Buddhism, loves animation films as much as any six-year-old.
A seasoned professional, Vijay Jacob packs in a wealth of sales, marketing and advertising experience. Having started his career with Eveready, he has held senior positions across India and SriLanka, with some the leading agencies, he brings to his task his breadth of knowledge, on-the-ground market learnings and a gung-ho approach to business. He has partnered some of the leading clients in the Indian subcontinent including Britannia, General Motors, ITC, 3M, Tata Steel in India and P & G, GSK and Mobitel in Sri Lanka.
When he is not working, he writes children’s stories and is aiming to publish it soon.

Kundan is a consummate advertising professional with extensive experience in creating high impact, integrated communication solutions across traditional, digital, activation and retail platforms. He brings with him over 20 years of experience as a Marketing and Communications professional having worked both at agencies as well as a client. In his long career he has worked on brands like Samsung, Pepsi, Slice, Tropicana, Aquafina, Zee TV, Vodafone, Maruti Suzuki, Whirlpool, Sony, National Geographic, Fox Life, Apollo Munich to name a few.
Shaziya is a brand and communication strategy specialist with significant Indian and South East Asian experience. She started her advertising career when she was a teenager and as publicity secretary of the Social Service League conceptualized and created its annual exhibition making several hand painted posters.
Her career spans luxury, grooming, wealth and well being. She has worked with brands such as De Beers, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg’s, Godrej, Zydus, Kotak and AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds of India). After almost a decade in account management, a thirst for thought leadership, led her into strategic planning. She is the first Indian to win the Jay Chiat Grand Prix, APG, IPA awards for strategy. Shaziya has contributed chapters for a book called ‘Luxury Market in India: Maharaja to Masses’. Her professional accolades also include three WPP Global Atticus Awards for ‘original thinking in marketing communication’; AME, Effie awards. She has been part of the jury at many prestigious national and international awards.
She has contributed pieces for the business press like Business Standard, Business World, Hindu Business Line, Financial Express and for branding publications like Ad Map and WPP Brandz India Reports. She guest lectures at ISB, MICA, Emerging India Camp organised by CII-JICA (Japanese Industrial Corporation Agency). Tista started her career with Whitelight Productions India's leading ad film production company. After assisting on over a hundred commercials, she joined Lowe Lintas and worked on brands like Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury’s and Unilever. Building her portfolio on multi-national and global brands she did a stint at Ogilvy and worked on the best loved campaigns in the country. In 2001 she joined J Walter Thompson and in the 17 years she has been involved with some of the largest brands in India and some of the most memorable and well-loved advertising campaigns. Her current portfolio includes Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, ITC, Godrej and many others. Her current responsibility is Regional Creative Director of JWT India and Srilanka.
She has been ranked among the 20 most creative people in Asia, and worked on campaigns that have won numerous metals across the world including Cannes, Clio, D&AD, LIA and Spikes Asia. Recent wins include Gold, Silver, Bronze, Finalist at AdFest; Gold, Finalists & Merit awards at One Show; Gold, Finalist at Cannes, Gold at Clio; Grand Prix, Gold, Silver at Spikes Asia. The Mumbai office of J Walter Thompson has won over 130 metals at Goa-fest including the Grand Prix under her creative leadership. Over the years she has sat on the jury of several advertising festivals in India and abroad, including Cannes, Clio, D&AD, Brand Equity, Kyoorius, Young Lions, Abby’s and LIA.

He confesses that more than any academic resources, its his two daughters, one a pre-teen and the other a seasoned teen, who manage to keep him abreast of popular culture and change.
In his spare time, which is very little, he speaks on advertising at management institutes and also advises start-ups on consumer facing issues.

The most recent in this series was for a study called 'The Science of Imperfect', which took a look at how brands can leverage imperfections to become memorable.
Past studies include a social experiment titled the Mobile phone deprivation study, the Motorcycle Diaries study on the white-collar migrants of urban India, the purely Facebook-based Life-o-holics study and Project Indus, which identified 7 strong women imprints from ancient Indian mythology that can be reinvented to add woman power to Indian advertising.
Outside of work, Ajeeta likes traveling, cooking, reading, teaching, watching Bollywood movies and is quite the foodie!

riya Shivakumar joined J Walter Thompson in 2011 as the Creative Head of Chennai Office and moved up to Executive Creative Director South in 2013 and is now National Creative Director at WT India leading three offices – Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
Priya won her first Silver Lion in 2007 followed by several heavy metals at all the prestigious national and international shows, ranking her among Asia’s hottest creatives. At JWT, Priya has led from the front with work that has won numerous Creative awards at the coveted Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show and Spikes Asia among others.
