Vikkal Parikh is the award-winning director/creative director at Ataboy. Born and raised in Mumbai, Vikkal trained as an architect before getting his MFA in computer art from Savannah College of Art and Design. Starting out as an art director for MTV, Vikkal then freelanced as a designer/animator in New York before joining Red Car in 2006.

In 2009 he was named Creative Director of Red Car’s new design/graphics division, Redhead. Clients included Burger King, Puma, HBO, Ad Council, Nickelodeon, Dell, and Verizon Fios. He moved on in 2011 to form Ataboy.

In his free time you can find Vikkal playing for the Hoboken Cricket Club. 

Nic Heller

A born and bred New Yorker, Nic describes himself as a street guru. Nic’s abilities of storytelling are unique, authentic and captivating. A true influencer with an organically generated, loyal Instagram following of 90K and growing, @newyorknico is definitely one to watch.

When Nic’s not shooting commercials, documentaries or making music videos, you'll find him strolling the streets collecting footage of raw New York city culture for his expansive archives.

Nic has a strong pulse for capturing culture in any environment. His areas of expertise are versatile, ranging from gritty and raunchy to elegant and stylized. Nic’s recent piece ‘Tribe’ for Rolling Stone received Vimeo Staff Pick and he has been nominated for a handful of other awards. Nic has collaborate with brands such as Foursquare, New York Times, Calvin Klein, Rolling Stone, GUINNESS, Marc Jacobs, Philosophy, TED, New York Magazine, Refinery 29, Sony, New Balance, School of Visual Arts, NYLAG and more.

Mathew Amonson, better known as “Nosnoma”, is a Greenpoint, Brooklyn based Director specializing in Animation, Practical VFX and Live Action. Nosnoma is best known for his next level abilities of combining various visual forms like 2D Cell Animation, 3D Animation, Stop Motion, Live Action, Puppeteering, and Interactive Animation Devices.

With over a decade of experience working in the New York Animation industry, Nosnoma has acquired an impressive amount of experience developing, leading, and implementing productions of all sizes. He has worked closely with companies such as Ogivy&Mather, Creature, MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER, Marcel Paris, Buck, The Hive, Kinky & Co, Wam, TPN, Alldayeveryday, Arcade Creative Group and a handful of others to develop and deliver brand messages for clients such as Oreo, Sony, Seismic, Ray Ban, Google, Cadbury, MIRAMAX, XFINITY, HP, Fresh Direct, Chipotle, Heineken, KPMG, the pilot and first two seasons of a live music TV show called Live from the Artists Den and more.

Signing with Ataboy is a natural next step towards expansion into more brand-supported content, high-end animation and real people advertising to best position Nosnoma for multi-platform campaigns. 

Benjy Brooke

Benjy Brooke is a multi-faceted artist who is constantly creating. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in fine arts he directs, animates, and illustrates. His work is graphic, colorful, fun and draws inspiration from such varied places as 1950s Cadillac concept cars, Moebius & Jodorowsky’s The Incal, The Neverhood, Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira, and the entire indie comics scene.

Benjy most recently co-directed and helped lead a small, tight-knit team at Ataboy to create the Peach Kings’ graphic, dark, voodoo, and crime noir music video “Mojo Thunder”. He is passionate about projects that allow him to be pushed on an emotional and technical level where he gets to run the gamut of production- writing, designing, illustrating, animating, and editing.

When he’s not working on a new spot or music video Benjy can be found pumping out comics, creating playful animated GIFs or t-shirts, posters, and temporary tattoos with his literary art company Litographs, which he co-founded and serves as Creative Director for.

Benjy signed on as Director at Ataboy in January 2015. His impressive list of clients includes Beyoncé, Kaskade, Teen Vogue, Bloomingdales, Neutrogena, HP, and Crayola, among others. 

Denise Hauser

Denise Hauser

Denise is a Swiss director whose taste for creative direction and story telling makes her process truly versatile and unique.Denise started out as a window display and exhibition designer in Switzerland. She moved on to study graphic design & illustration at the University of Arts London followed by an MA in animation at the Royal College of Art.

Upon graduation she moved to Norway where she made short films, created animated commercials and lectured animation and illustration. Her multidisciplinary background and wide range of work caught the attention of an award winning New York based animation production company. This ultimately led her to live and work as a freelance director in New York directing animated, mixed media and live action films for various clients and production companies.

Most recently, Denise has led and directed a four spot campaign for SPDRs at Ataboy studios. Other recent work includes a fundraising film for the Smithsonian Archives of American Art and a brand film for FiLIP ‘The world’s first phone for kids’ together with Leo Burnett New York. Denise continues to develop her personal work creating short films such as Wanda Løper, a new animated short film for children which is financially supported by various Norwegian funding bodies.

She now lives between New York and Zurich and when not directing or making films she enjoys spending time in the nature with her Norwegian husband and their little son.

Based in New York City, Corydon Wagner is a commercial director best known for bringing brands to life through impactful visuals and memorable performances.

Corydon’s career behind the camera began as a means of supporting himself as an actor, but his fascination with the medium – its composition, staging, and performance – quickly blossomed into a consuming passion for what he soon recognized to be his life’s work: directing. In his breakout year as a commercial director, he received a 2012 Young
Director Award at the Cannes Golden Lion Festival. This same year, he also won Ciclopes, AICP, Summit International, Hermes Creative Awards, and was a Webby Branded Content Honoree. Corydon was featured in Shoot’s 2013 New Director Showcase as well as being mentioned in Shots Cannes issue as a new director to watch.
