Tony Signore joined Taylor in January 1989 and immediately became immersed in a host of international initiatives. For a period of 10 years, Tony focused on the strategic development of global sponsorship-activation campaigns on behalf of key client partners such as MasterCard. By the end of the decade, Tony had taken Taylor to worldwide recognition through the creation and implementation of numerous award-winning programs on-site in more than 50 countries, and on every continent.
He shifted his attention back to the U.S. region in 2000 and concentrated on program development and the strategic planning of lifestyle and sports marketing communications campaigns before his appointment to Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner in July 2004.
In his first year as CEO, Tony made a commitment to a new vision that called for Taylor to be exclusively aligned with category leading consumer brands that respect and value the vital role public relations can play in the overall marketing mix. He made a bold statement within the industry when he redefined the agency's client roster from 71 accounts in June 2004 to a powerful portfolio of 22 client partners by December 2006. As a result, Taylor's annual revenue more than doubled during this 30-month period, with consecutive years of revenue growth exceeding 35%.
His passion, forward-thinking and rock-solid belief in the agency's capabilities led Taylor's strategic expansion across the United States and Europe, starting with Taylor Charlotte in November 2004. With its overall position strengthened on the east coast, Tony established a bicoastal and global presence for Taylor with the opening of offices in Los Angeles and London in 2006. His steadfast approach to provide greater value for Taylor's client partners also drove the 2006 acquisition of Los Angeles-based Oralia Michel Marketing and Public Relations (OMMPR). This alliance, Taylor PRimero, provides client partners with experience and insight into the diverse Latino population in the United States.
Tony graduated cum laude with Dean's List honors from Fordham University, where he lettered in diving. He and his wife Elizabeth have three children and live in Old Brookville, New York.
