Throughout my career I've continuously been involved in starting new initiatives. I thrive on setting things in motion. Apart from the business side, I love working on innovative ideas, campaigns, products and services. I believe relevant stories and services are the most powerful tools to make brands worth talking about in an era of advertising overload.

I work at Google now. Creating opportunities for big ideas (campaigns, products and services) for the biggest advertisers and their agencies in Northern Europe. We help finding amazing opportunities in data, boost the ideation process through tools and workshops and implement amazing tech and media innovations.

In previous years, I have had the privilege of working with, and for some of the most talented brands, agencies and people out there. Although I consider myself a digital native, I have created integrated campaigns, films, games, mobile experiences, products and future concepts for global brands like:
Nike, Google, Converse, Volkswagen, Vodafone, Philips, KLM, Diageo, Fox and Heinz.

I have been rewarded with over 30 industry awards and honors, including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Webby, Contagious Magazine, the FWA, ADC, SpinAwards and Emerce.

Working at Google Zoo. Responsible for Northern Europe (Benelux, Nordics). The Zoo is a team of 130 global creative collaborators helping brands and agencies to make their ideas bigger. We use data to find compelling consumer insights and problems to solve, offer tools and methods to create user first campaigns and services and offer Google technology to create bigger impact.

Founded in 2004, Anomaly is a new-model, multidisciplinary marketing communications firm/advertising agency with offices in New York, Toronto, London, Amsterdam and Shanghai.

I worked on on a variety of creative and effective digital campaigns and innovations for global brands like Nike, Converse, Diageo, Mexx and Fox. I was responsible for recruiting exceptional digital talent and building strong working relationships with clients, helping them to inspire and educating them so that they understand great digital work.

From its opening in March 2007, we built Boondoggle to be
a digital thinking advertising agency, working for brands like Nike, KLM, Heinz and Rabobank on a pan-European scale. In 2010 Boondoggle was ranked 4th independent agency in the world according to the Cannes Creative Rankings.

As Founding Partner I was responsible for the day to day management of creative work (on 250+ projects), leading key accounts and teams, strengthening the creative output of the agency and managing production. Boondoggle Amsterdam became a team of 23 FTE, with a 15% net profit over 2011 and an average year-over-year business growth of 42%.

SoundCream
2003 - 2007 (4 Jahre)
SoundCream provided technology services for independent record labels and was funded with $500.000 in venture capital in 2005. We handled the digital rights management and online sales of 50,000 records and initiated creative concepts between brands and record labels. It was, back then, an early mix between Beatport and Spotify.

I was one of the two co-founders and responsible for proposing concepts to brands like ID&T, Tommy Hilfiger and MusicDNA (the Dutch Shazam), plus handling the electronic music catalogue and client management. We turned SoundCream into the main technology engine behind download platforms like Radio 538 (#1 radio station the the Netherlands) and Talpa Media (John de Mol).
