Ossama El Kaoukji

Ossama El Kaoukji

Chief Creative Officer at Memac Ogilvy Tunisia
Tunis, Tunesien

Zusammenfassung

Attracted at an early age by creativity, Ossama stepped into "Graphics" (later Publi-Graphics), a creative advertising agency in Beirut, as a Junior Art Director.
He quickly grew his own wings and founded 2 years later "The Artshop", a design agency, turning it within 5 years into Beirut's leading creative hot shop.
Lebanon's turmoil forced him and his family in 1977 to leave Beirut and settle in Kuwait where he founded and managed "Concept", a creative consultancy agency, and maintained its market leadership for more than a decade.
His creative reputation led UNICEF to appoint him as the Regional Communications Consultant to their "Child to Child" educational program for the GCC region.
From 1980 to 1990, he also founded and published the Arabic children educational monthly magazine “Iftah Ya Simsim”, in alliance with the AGCC Foundation in Kuwait, which launched the pioneering TV program “Iftah Ya Simsim”.
In 1990, he joined the advertising agency Memac, as a partner and established the agency's Kuwait office holding the dual role of Managing & Creative Director.
Since 2002, Ossama is a Board Member and the Chief Creative Officer of Memac Ogilvy, overlooking the network's creative product across its 12 offices in the MENA region.
