Adam Wells

Adam has directed several notable and award winning campaigns collecting an RTS Award, seven Gold Promax-BDA’s and countless less expensive ones. He has twice been nominated for a BAFTA.

His style is distinctly grand and imaginative, thriving on bringing concept to an epic scale. Recent clients include Mars, Unilever, Sony PlayStation, NatWest / RBS, Coca Cola, Bombay Sapphire, Ford, adidas, O2, Tiger Beer and Sky Sports.

In 2006 Adam founded the creative production company, gotgotneed, with Will Innes Smith. As co-directors, they were creatively responsible the viral hit "PlayStation 4 : For the Players Since 1995". Their work on the Huff Post Campaign achieved a Silver Cannes Lion win.

Alongside primary representation through gotgotneed, Adam continues to work independently.

Adam has directing experience in the UK, Czech Republic, Spain, Canada, USA, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

Prior to making the natural progression into directing, Adam graduated from the Jacob Kramer College of Art, with a background of graphic design and for many years he plied his trade as a broadcast designer and creative.

Adam’s understanding of creative writing, post and design, combined with his imagination and creativity has enabled him to become an incredibly accomplished director with a diverse range of skills.
