Rana Hamarneh

With more than three decades of varied experience in the creative, strategy, media and advertising sector, Rana is one of the most influential figures in the communications industry in Jordan and the region. Rana has been instrumental in shaping and setting the new tone in the industry, as well as taking the agency through major consecutive wins. She is known today for producing some of the most memorable campaigns in Jordan and the region.

Rana played a major role in taking the local campaign levels to different heights, winning her country its first International Advertising Award, the silver Keith Reinhard Award as well as 100+ local and regional awards since the 80’s.
Leading the sector with many firsts, Hamarneh's achievements were clearly noticed with identifiable and remarkable total communication solutions and strategies that transformed the businesses of Al-Ghad Newspaper, Umniah Telecommunications, Capital Bank, Housing Bank, Zain Jordan, Itisaluna Iraq, Fine Hygienic Holding, Al-Aman Fund, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Award for Excellence in teaching and Queen Rania Al Abdullah Award for Excellence in Education to name a few. Under her leadership, the Agency has risen to becoming one of the largest conglomerates in the sector, leading the Agency into the top 3 position across the brand and media sectors since 1991.

Hamarneh was the first Creative Director in the Middle East to participate in the "Art of Advertising” and “The 1994 Clio Awards“ and is a current member of the Leadership Network of New York, the International Advertising Association, the Jordan Advertising Association and a member of the brand committee of Injaz. Rana also sat on the board of the International Advertising Association, Nuqul Group, and Capital Bank. Rana also offers her strategic council to a plethora of governmental professional’s and heads, working on crisis management, reputation management, personal branding and strategic communications to meet the country’s dynamic communication needs.
