Story The background
Ketchup has been an integral part of our life. Snacks, especially fries, burgers, patties have always been served with a ketchup. They can never be as tasty, if not complimented with ketchup.


The insight
Though ketchup plays a ‘supporting’ role, it’s an important role. Without it, fries won’t taste like fries. And burgers won’t be as exciting. And Heinz, being a world leader in ketchups, has been playing this role perfectly since its inception.

The execution
This idea is brought alive through a beautifully crafted metaphorical print campaign. The ads in this campaign showcase famous Hollywood actors, who have won Academy Awards (Oscars) for their brilliant performance in a supporting role. Thus, highlighting the important role played by the supporting cast.
